My name is Brianna Orth, most call me Bri. I have been a licensed cosmetologist for 11 years now, graduating from Eric Fisher Academy here in Wichita. I have been cutting hair professionally for 8 years, all in the west Wichita area.

I specialize specifically in hair cutting, I do not do color services.  My strengths are giving easy to manage hairstyles that not only complement an individuals given beauty, but complement their lifestyles.

I am comfortable and flexible to work with all individuals of the community; I have experience in giving haircuts to 0-100 year olds. I also am confident and comfortable with children and adults with physical and cognitive disabilities. (All 11 years of my experience have regularly included individuals in the autism spectrum.)

Haircuts can be a difficult task to endure for some individuals. I would love for every individual to feel confident and comfortable during a haircut, but I know that is not the case. To help create a safe, tolerable experience, I do have some tricks to help us through the service. For example: communication cards to explain and show the steps of getting a haircut, sensory and fidget toys, as well as, brushes and fans to help keep hair off of skin.

If a haircut in a salon does not sound possible, do not lose hope! With new Board of Cosmetology legislation, I am able to travel and preform services in the home for individuals with disabilities or homebound individuals (not living in retirement centers).
